Cornell Solar Project Could Test NY Energy Incentive - Law360

Cornell is seeking to bring a 1.9-megawatt solar project online in Lansing, N.Y., just north of Ithaca, and connect it to the power grid using a classification that will generate remote net metering subsidies. Remote net metering rules allow for solar power to be installed anywhere and sold onto the grid in order to foster clean energy development.
