SC Supreme Ct. Reverses PSC Nuclear Order

In a 3 - 2 decision, the South Carolina Supreme Court reversed the PSC's decision to allow SCE&G to recover "contingency costs" as part of its Base Load Review Order allowing the financing and construction of two nuclear units at its Jenkinsville facility. The South Carolina Energy Users Committee did not oppose the project itself, but challenged the recovery of contingency costs for the project as not being allowed by law.
